Camp Flame Catcher is uniquely designed to give children with epilepsy the typical camping experience  with the guidance of trained epilepsy specialists. The camp is run by the Epilepsy Foundation Greater Cincinnati and Columbus.

Children age 8 and up take part in such activities as hiking, arts & crafts, swimming, archery, horseback riding, fishing, boating and more. It is held at Camp Kern in Warren County on July 15-19, 2018.  It is normally $375.

The Epilepsy Foundation Greater Dayton Region offers free camperships to 2 children based on financial need. These camperships are offered on a first come- first served basis. The children must have epilepsy and live in Auglaize, Champaign, Clark, Darke, Greene, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble or Shelby counties in Ohio.

Our 2018 camperships are now filled. If you would like to be considered for 2019, plese contact us in February of 2019.
