After a seizure, you may not be able to legally drive until you have been seizure free for a period of time and get a note from your neurologist.  Below are some serves available in the greater Dayton region service area to help you find transportation services.  If a link is highlighted, it links to the service website. Scroll down to see county-specific information.

If you have Medicaid

Medicaid covers transportation to medical appointments.   Call your provider first to confirm.

Caresource- Patients set up their own transportation.  Schedule at least 2-30 days in advance.  Click here for more information about Caresource transportation services. 

Molina- Call to schedule at least 3 days in advance.  Click here for more information about Molina transportation services. 

Montgomery County

Montgomery County Regional Transit Authority- RTA

RTA provides free, countywide transit services for people who cannot access its fixed route service due to a disability or disabling health condition. You must be a registered customer to use paratransit services. 

RTA also offers customers with qualifying disabilities, or senior citizens age 65 and older,  reduced fares on fixed route services.  Proof of eligibility is required for all customers seeking reduced fare.
